My 1st time on the track was in April 2k2 with a stock CA18DET powered, 1990 b12 nissan sentra 4-dr. Mods included custom FMIC, MSD 50lb/hr injectors, a re-worked T25, a non-LSD gearbox, and SDS standalone engine management system.1st run was a 14.8@98mph on 13psi of boost on regular street tires, 35psi of air in all 4 tires (205/50-15 kumho tires on B14 SE-r 15in. rims). Just lauched the car too hard because I was excited and the thing went nowhere fast.2nd run was a [email protected]. This launch was a little better with less wheelspin, but still a weak launch nonetheless. This run was done on open-boost (yes, I pulled the hose off the wastegate actuator). It didn't make the car that much faster, but it did sound cool and caused my intake temperatures to shoot through the roof. Tire pressure this time was brought to 20psi.

In 2003, I replaced the previous sentra that was destroyed with another sedan. On Dec. 21, 2003, I ran a [email protected] with regular street tires. R/T=1.031, 60'=3.016, 330=7.059, 1/[email protected], 1000'=12.636.

In 2004, I took the new sentra (the other one got destroyed later in 2k2) with it's new T3/T04E stage III with a .48 backhousing, 205/50-15 BF goodrich drag radials on B14 SEL gunmetal rims, 7 y/o intrax/kyb suspension, much better tuning on SDS, MSD 72lb/hr injectors, MSD DIS-2 ignition box with 2 step launch control, better turbo manifold, hks 40mm wastegate, blitz and Greddy bovs, upgraded FMIC, NISMO fpr, and bliz dual sbc/turbo timer on board.

1st run got smoked by an S14 with RB25DET. R/T=1.287__60'=2.799__330'=6.928__1/[email protected]__1000'=12.414__1/[email protected]

2nd run got smoked by a 10 second Supra. R/T=981__60'=2.906__330'=7.207__1/[email protected]__1000'=12.735__1/[email protected]

3rd run against old neon with SRT4 motor in it boosting 25psi to my 18psi. R/T=.690__60'=2.578__330'=6.715__1/[email protected]__1000'=12.202__1/[email protected] (difference here was 2-step lauch, but still burned radials and went nowhere fast).

4th and final run against mazda6 and killed my clutch after 2nd gear. R/T=.348__60'=2.368__330'=6.312__1/[email protected]__1000'=12.979__1/[email protected]. This run started out to be my best effort for the day, but the clutch let loose after coming out of 2nd gear and I just let the car coast in neutral through the traps.

Have fun sharing your experiences, but remember to keep it real!

Dee

This was my first time ever on a track. I had trouble with the launches. I either bogged badly or just spun the tires threw the first 3 gears.

I was getting the hang of the track when my wastgate actuator arm fell off on the launch so i coasted the rest fo the track while i tryed to figure out what happened. Because i didnt have any spare e-clips and the car would have had to cool for a while before i could get behind the manifold the night was over for me. I had an awesome time thought and cant wait to go back this summer with some better tires and with my fully functioning studder box and anti lag.

made these runs on mismatched used tires i bought down the street. full air pressure prob 35-50psi, on the first run coil overs set full stiff rear, full soft front. then half stiff in the rear and full soft in the front the rest of the runs.

i was car 132

Well a ca18det powered s12 can run 9.03 1/8th mile with some minor improvements (14psi, 255lph walbro, stock t25 turbo, open diff, CFDF clutch, 2 10in subs in the back, and on bridgestone potenzas) and still lost to some stripped civic.

finally ran my ca18det at the track... first time EVER drag racing, so my 60 ft's kinda sucked.

on crappy drift tires dropped to 25psi. I spun all the way through first, and each time I shifted gears. I did however manage to beat the other s13 I went with 3 times in a row, and he's got an SR20

1st run:R/T: .70060ft: 2.4521/8: 9.771 @ 77.67mph1/4: 14.777 @ 98.89mph

2nd run: (best)R/T: .58060ft: 2.5051/8: 9.609 @ 79.61mph1/4: 14.53 @ 100.53mph

3rd run (I hit the rev limiter in 3rd and the car bogged HARD).R/T: .51660ft: 2.4731/8: 9.538 @ 79.76mph1/4: 14.544 @ 98.18mph

mods are intake, exhaust, downpipe, fmic, s14 gt28, 10psi. I have an safc as well, but I haven't done any tuning with it. I have a maxima maf and 550cc injectors, once I install I'll turn it up to 14psi and get some good tires and hopefully go deep into the 13's. I think with trap speed just over 100mph, high 13s are within reach right now even.

edit for some pics: mine is the s13 in front, the other is my friend's car with an SR20.

Here is my bone stock CA 1/4 mile times. First the car was setup for autocross that night and it was my first time at a track. Now that the excuses are out of the way here are the numbers:

R/T .42460' 2.3330 6.061/8 10.11000' 13.21/4 15.77MPH 89.4

This was my fastest run of the night i did however muster a .232 R/T once and a 90.9 MPH on one run also. So i feel confident that the car can do low 15's

Just got back from the track. It was my first time.

Car:69 datsun 5104.11 diff ratio subaru lsdgt2510 @ 10-11psisohc ka maf running as blowthrough

Car's been running rich constantly around 10:1 everytime, no matter how much I change the boost. I have a walbro inline 255lph pump and a nismo afpr.

Car is too low in the rear so there's a lot of camber. Anyways here is the best time i got.

Pretty sad considering phyrx got a better time and he has a stock turbo with stock boost. Ha
