Hello, I am new here.

I was looking at brand new 09 Coupe Sport MT6 with tech package. And it came to $54,000 Out the Door with Infiniti Canada $5,500 dealer incentive. That's the price without me haggling, so probably can get another $5,000Options probably differ from what you get from the States. It comes with 19" rims... I think it's an option down there?

Thing is that I just looked 08 pre-owned models with 40,000km and they are all $35,000-37,000 ish.Didn't know Inifiniti depreciated that much.

Since 2008 was the new model year for G37, did they have any issues?

US and Canadian $ is pretty much 1:1 now.

I've got 25000 miles on my 08 with zero issues. The only thing done on mine has been a muffler replaced per a TSB for a loose baffle and there was a recall for a defective air bag sensor in the passenger seat. Only thing has been oil changes and tires. A much better car than my 03 coupe!

Down here, all the manual transmission coupes come with 19" wheels. They are an option on the automatic transmission cars.

I have an early 2008 G37S couple with the Premium and Navigation packages. I ordered it in August 2007 and picked it up in November. It is now 27 months old with 20k miles.

The only problem has been a brief buzz in the instrument cluster when I hit a sharp bump. The dealer's technician cured it, for no charge during an oil change, by lubricating the mounting point for the cluster. There was also a factory recall to fix a potential problem with the passenger's air bag.

Although they rarely occur, check this forum for posts about oil consumption and transmission problems. The things you most need to worry about are abuse and/or neglect by a previous owner.

Also be aware that there aren't many choices for 19" tires. There are many choices for the front size and many for the rear, but very few with the same brand and model for both ends. TireRack shows only two summer tires and one winter. All are Bridgestones. When I need to buy tires, I will probably get the cheaper of the Bridgestone summer tires.

Your price seems high but I don't know if that is due to Canadian taxes and/or differences in currency. I paid $42k US when nobody wanted to deal and it cost me another $3k for taxes and registration.

28k here and other than the crappy factory tires I have only had the muffler replaced due to the loose baffle issue.

IMO, the price you have "out the door" is high. Mine listed 42k US (Journey with Premium and Sport packages + spoiler) and I got it for 37k which came out to under 42k "out the door" (after all taxes, etc). Here, a 6mt with Nav and Tech packages runs $44,265 list.
