Well Folks I figured I'd help some of you out a little bit... I read through so many of these posts for the best way to install an amp and subs in an 08 Altima Coupe. Seems everyone went with drilling. Well I found a spot with a hole and grommet big enough for 4G wire. I regret to inform you that I'm dense and forgot to take pics but this is what you do....

Passanger side: - Remove door sill trim piece and the trim piece in front of that.
- Romove the glovebox; mine had 3 screws on the top, 3 on the bottom and 2 more inside where the owners manual is. Unclip the drop down doorand remove it
completely (be careful of the string that pulls the door back up)(on reinstall best way is leave it retracked and use needle nose plyers through the clip hole and pull it
out). Remove the 8 screws listed above (don't worry the glove box will need to be jiggled out, it wont drop after the screws are removed). Pop the glove box out
and leave it to the side.
- Pull back the carpet on the right top side behind where the glovebox should be. You will see a piece of moulded styrofoam, carefully pull that out and leave it to the
side. There is a layer of insulation pad, on the far right side about 6"-8" up is a very noticable curve. Use an exacto blade and either cut a nice line hoizontally or
vertically in the insulation behind there you will see the grommet.
- Remove the grommet and cut a whole in it and feed the power wire through. It is a little tricky to find the right angle but it feeds through nice. The wire will end
up coming out over the passenger tire.
- On wiper cowl where it meets the engine compartment you will see one of those rivet clips, if you pop it out and just pull it up to see under it. you will see 2 holes,
one for the clip and one for your power wire. Use a sharp exacto blade and you can cut the plastic nice to expose the hole. You can run and hide the wire behind the
foam and BOOM! yer at the battery.

Hopefully this helps someone.

In case anyone wants to run bigger wire.

Here is an example I used with pics. I ran thicker wire using this method. It is closer to the battery which can save some power wire. No drilling as well.

I dunno if the coupe and sedan would be the same. I know that some weren't. Or at least the ones I checked. Where I did it was the only place I could find.

I have a coupe. There are a couple more threads with coupes using the same spot. The thread I posted just had pics. There is nothing wrong with your method unless you wanted to run 1/0 AWG without drilling.
