My 04 Maxima's heater just isn't working. It only gets warm if the car is moving at cruising speed, when idling, it blows cold air. What could be wrong, anyone have any ideas? Freezing cold in Georgia.

Thanks.

Check your radiator. A guy I work with had the exact same problem in his Maxima, and it was only because it was out of water.

Not "Maxima specific", but if your T-stat is stuck open, it's lilkey to cause this same issue.

Or if all else fails, take it to the dealer? If you still have your warranty that is.

I would check T stat like mentioned above, radiator and even if it gets bad enough.....maybe the heater core.
